Sharman Jack & Evelyn Halloween Treats

Halloween treats were extra special at the Sharman's in the fifty's. You planned your route to definately go to their house because they gave big chocolate bars out for treats. What a thrill to get a nice Chrispy Crunch,Sweet Marie etc. for free. Those bars were 10. cents you know that was most of our allowance back then. Kids would line up as Mrs. Sharman brought out the tray of bars. We all got to choose one. I lived on fifthth ave. West at the time so all my friends and I would hurry down fifth towards main street so we would be the first kids to get there. At that time Jack & Evelyn lived on the corner of Fifth Ave West and Main Street. Those were the days.
