Leon and Antoinette Goulet owned the General Store in Biggar, Saskatchewan until they sold it in 1920. They gave birth to a son Bert in 1918 while living in Biggar. Antoinette's father, St. Jacques, was a homesteader in British Columbia near Thornill, British Columbia and for a couple of years the family joined him there, 1920 to 1922. Bert's brother, Maurice, was born 1924 in Carrot River, Saskatchewan. Leon and Antoinette finally retired in the Fraser Valley, B.C.
