Tracy Dollansky has been a teacher for five years at Biggar Elementary School between 1985 and 2000, principal at Biggar Central School 2000 between 1998 and 2000 and was appointed Superintendent of Education November 1, 2009. As Sun West School Division Superintendent, Dollansky will be responsible for Landis School, Biggar Central School 2000, North West Central School, Plenty, Harris-Tessier Central School, Rosetown Central High School, Walter Aseltine School in Rosetown, D’Arcy School, and Eston Composite School. Besides being principal in Biggar, she was also principal of Walter Aseltine School in Rosetown.

At the Canadian post-secondary access partnership 2009 Inaugural conference, Dollansky was a part of Team Biggar aiming at improving quality of life in Biggar and community. In her report entitled, "Rural Saskatchewan Elementary K-6 Teachers' Perceptions of Supervision and Professional Development" Dollansky found that teachers generally felt that the following factors were important, " a trusting supervisor and supervisory environment, time, supervisor and teaching training, peer supervision, conferencing, supervision of new and at-risk teachers, professional development plans, formal and informal supervisory visits, new supervision policy and implementation, and teacher choice in the supervisory process." Dollansky was a member of the career development, work exploration team to identify student career interests as early as grade 9 and help them with developing these careers. Dollansky was the chairperson of the Teacher Professional Practice Committee and was involved with the Administrator's professional practice committee.Dollansky was treasurer of the Biggar and District Music Festival.

Dollansky attended the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon and earned her Bachelor of Education and Master of Educational Administration. She married Wayne. Her son Steven is currently studying law at the University of Alberta after receiving his Bachelor of Science, and her daughter Lisa is a nursing student at the University of Alberta also.
