Canadian Restaurant

Mah Toy and Lee Wah proprietors of the Canadian Restaurant settled in Biggar in about the middle of May 1909 and opened the restaurant. They were from China and had been in this country for many years. They were able to speak English and had adopted the customs of Canada. They had much experience in the business in many cities across Canada prior to coming to Biggar.
