Biggar Amateurettes were a group of young ladies who captured the local ACT - T.B. amateur show during the winter of 1959 and who went on to win the Orange Bowl in the final competition in Saskatoon taking first place in central Saskatchewan They appeared at the Saskatoon Exhibition grandstand show on July 24th, 1959 when they were presented with the championship Orange Bowl.

The Amateurettes were made up of Marion Hooge, Marion Angelopoulos, Bonnie Jean Badrock, Mary Ann Herity and Sharon O’Brien. Mrs. Ted Angelopoulos was their accompanist.
