Biggar Airport
View of Biggar Airport looking westward. Runway is on the left, aircraft hangers on the right.

Biggar got its first landing strip in 1947. The Saskatchewan Air Ambulance made its first landing into Biggar in the spring of 1948. Improvements have been made to the strip over the years to where it has a paved runway with night time lighting. For a time there was a flying club and the club owned a plane. Crop dusters make use of the facility.
